Craneosaurus wins $500 prize

The MyPATH Pottery crew farewell Craneosaurus before he heads to a new home at SARAH Constructions’ head office.

SARAH Constructions has awarded Minda’s MyPATH Pottery a fantastic $500 prize for winning the Name the Crane Competition.

Support leader Roger Gillison was delighted to accept a giant cheque from SARAH Constructions’ Ben Layley. Well done Roger and the pottery team!

Roger says the $500 prize will be used to buy shelving to go with a new kiln coming to the pottery program very soon.

SARAH Constructions held the Name the Crane competition to celebrate the tower crane which went up over the Master Plan works at Minda Brighton back in May.

The judges were SARAH Constructions’ General Manager Adrian Esplin, Senior Project Manager Ben Layley and Project Administrator Tanis Wood.

“The team was very keen to get their hands on Craneosaurus and settle him into his new home in the SARAH Constructions office on Glen Osmond Road,” Ben says.

“We also had a sign made up to honour Craneosaurus, and we’ve put this up over near the tower crane on the construction site.

“It was really great to present the cheque to Roger and learn first-hand about the pottery and what it achieves for the people Minda supports.

“Thanks to everyone at Minda who got involved in the Name the Crane competition.”
