Mikey's big night at Pink!

Mikey enjoyed an incredible night out to see rock star Pink perform at one of her recent Adelaide concerts at the Entertainment Centre.

Mikey, who lives at Bonython Way and works at Laundry and Linen Services at Lonsdale, enjoyed seeing his favourite ‘Beautiful Trauma’ singer live, accompanied by support worker Casey.

He said Pink was “the best” and enjoyed showing photographs from the night, put together in an album by Casey, around Minda Brighton in the days after the concert.

“With VIP early entry tickets, he was especially impressed with being able to skip the long lines outside and be let onto the floor early enough to secure a spot in the third row from the stage!” Casey said.

“He had standing tickets rather than seats so he was right in the middle of the action. He was close enough to see Pink up-close and wave to her throughout the night. At one point, he waved so persistently that she noticed him and gave him a wink. She also came over to our area of the crowd and blew us a kiss.

“Mikey left with a program and a big smile on his face, but boy was he pleased to be getting to bed when we returned to Brighton at midnight. All in all, it was a fantastic night.”
